The Graig Boutique Chocolate Mud Cake
Preheat your oven to 160c
Grease the 15cm round tin and line with grease proof paper and give it at least a 2cm collar.
Add the butter, chocolate, coffee and water in a sauce pan on a very low heat until the butter and chocolate is melted, once all is melted remove from the heat and put to one side. Sift the cocoa, flours, and bicarb of soda in a large mixing bowl. Once sifted add the sugar and make a well in the centre of the mixture. Then add the combined buttermilk, oil and eggs and the chocolate mixture which was cooling in the saucepan. Stir until the gooey mixture is completely combined. Pour the yummy mixture into your prepared baking tin and cook for 1 hour and 10 minutes. When you test with a skewer it may come out a little sticky, this is fine its a gooey, moist chocolate cake recipe. Leave to cool in the baking tin for upto 2 hours or until cold. How ever many of our guests like it warm.

Comments about this property We had a brilliant stay at the Graig B&B. The owners were incredibly hospitable, the rooms were light and clean, the country setting was both tranquil and beautiful with a view across to the Malvern Hills, and the breakfast was brilliant. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying at this B&B.
