Kate and her mother were most friendly , helpful and welcoming. We stayed with friends and all agreed that rooms were first class also. Thoroughly enjoyed and we shall certainly visit again Tips for other travellers Lovely Ludlow of course Clee Hill not to be missed for stunning 360 views We ate at French Living and Bistro 7 which were both v good.
We were given a very warm welcome by Lorraine and Katy, and were made to feel ‘at home’ straight away. The cup of tea with a slice of delicious home made chocolate cake and home made choc biscuits (gluten free) were so welcomed after our journey, and gave us an opportunity to chat and learn about the local area. Our room (1) was outstanding. Very comfortable bed, lovely view of the garden, en suite shower room/toilet with radiator and heated floor (luxury!) Tea and coffee making in the room, with fresh milk available from the fridge in the breakfast room. Flat screen television and two arm chairs. Now breakfast: what a treat - choices of cereals and home made compote (warm and delicious) and good choices of cooked breakfast including fresh eggs from the hens in the garden. Our stay was fabulous and we highly recommend The Graig and would like to visit again. Tips for other travellers There are many places of interest in Ludlow and this information is available from The Graig. We went to the Unicorn pub (less than 10 minutes drive) which had a very good menu for evening meals and the landlord was very pleasant and helpful. The pub is an interesting old building and the atmosphere inside is vibrant.
Warm welcome, lovely room and fabulous breakfast! Beautiful touches such as the cookies, proper coffee and fresh flowers in the room made it really special. Thank you for being such great hosts - we'll be back!
A lovely, relaxing stay. Hosts were very friendly and the breakfasts and evening meal were excellent. The garden with ponds was very peaceful to sit in, looking out onto the Shropshire countryside. Just a nice distance from Ludlow. Would definitely go again. Tips for other travellers Charlton Arms in Ludlow was excellent. The Old Bakehouse in Ludlow was good for lunches.
13th November 2017, guest from Chesterfield: "First class accommodation, tastefully furnished, comfortable and with touches of luxury. Some lovely extras such as the bottled water and homemade cake in the room. Wonderful friendly and informative hosts. The breakfast was top class, beautifully cooked and presented and with delicious home made jams and fruit compote. We were made to feel very welcome and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would not hesitate in recommending the Graig B&B Ludlow. " Tip: "Ludlow is a charming town with plenty of places to eat. We would recommend Bistro 7 - our meal and wine were superb and the service excellent."
