Excellent room and service
Everything was perfect. Hope to return at sometime to visit other attractions in the area and would certainly stay at The Graig where we were made most welcome Tips for other travellers Approaching Office Lane from the direction of Ludlow is immediately after the garage (Name?) on the right. Blink and you may miss the turning, we did but the bonus was finding the parking at the top of Cleehill Lovely cafe and bakery shop hidden away in Attorney's Walk, Ludlow - recommended
We were given a very warm welcome by Lorraine and Katy, and were made to feel ‘at home’ straight away. The cup of tea with a slice of delicious home made chocolate cake and home made choc biscuits (gluten free) were so welcomed after our journey, and gave us an opportunity to chat and learn about the local area. Our room (1) was outstanding. Very comfortable bed, lovely view of the garden, en suite shower room/toilet with radiator and heated floor (luxury!) Tea and coffee making in the room, with fresh milk available from the fridge in the breakfast room. Flat screen television and two arm chairs. Now breakfast: what a treat - choices of cereals and home made compote (warm and delicious) and good choices of cooked breakfast including fresh eggs from the hens in the garden. Our stay was fabulous and we highly recommend The Graig and would like to visit again. Tips for other travellers There are many places of interest in Ludlow and this information is available from The Graig. We went to the Unicorn pub (less than 10 minutes drive) which had a very good menu for evening meals and the landlord was very pleasant and helpful. The pub is an interesting old building and the atmosphere inside is vibrant.
Accommodation was superior Katy was extremely welcoming and the ginger cake was divine. Tips for other travellers We ate in the Boars Head I Ludlow. The food was excellent a real step up from the usual pub grub.
Lovely place, Thank you. xx
